High Density Polyethylene (HDPE): is a highly crystalline non-polar thermoplastic resin produced by copolymerization of ethylene and a small amount of α-olefin monomer. HDPE is synthesized at low pressure and is therefore also called low pressure polyethylene. HDPE is primarily a linear molecular structure and has little branching. It has a high degree of crystallization and a high density. It can withstand high temperatures and has good stiffness and mechanical strength and chemical anti-corrosion. HDPE applications, including film, blow molding, extrusion, injection molding, pipes, wires and cables and base material for the production of chlorinated polyethylene. HDPE products use grade: 1). HDPE Film Grade grade HDPE film is widely used in the production of T-shirt bags, shopping bags, food bags, garbage bags, packing bags, industrial coating and multilayer film. Also used in beverage and medicine packaging, hot fill packaging and fresh product packaging and the anti-seepage film used in hydraulic engineering. 2). HDPE blow molding Grade HDPE blow molding can be used for the production of smallsized containers such as milk bottles, juice bottles, cosmetic bottles, artificial butter cans, gear oil barrels and auto lubricant barrels. It can also be used in the production of bulk intermediate containers (IBCs), large toys, raw materials floats and large and medium-sized containers such as barrels use packaging. 3). HDPE Filament Grade The HDPE filament grade is suitable for making packaging films, nets, ropes and small and medium containers 4). HDPE injection molding grade HDPE injection molding grade is used for making reusable containers, such as beer cases, beverage cases, food cases, vegetable cases and egg cases and can also be used to make trays plastic containers, freight containers, household appliances, everyday goods and thin wall-mounted food containers. It can also be used in the production of barrels, bins and toys for industrial use. Through the process of extrusion and compression and injection molding, it can be used to produce the caps of purified water, mineral water, tea drinks and juice drink bottles. 5). HDPE grade pipe HDPE grade pipe can be used in manufacturing pressure pipes, such as pressurized water pipes, fuel pipelines and other industrial pipes. It can also be used for the manufacture of non-pressure pipes, such as corrugated double-walled pipes, winding pipes hollow-walled, silicon-core pipes, agricultural irrigation pipes and aluminumplastics composite pipes. Furthermore, by reactive extrusion (silane cross-linking), it can be used for the production of cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) pipes for cold and hot water supply. 6).
